DIWALI FESTIVAL- Diwali (Deepavali or Divali) is the Indian festival of lights.People light earthen oil lamps and decorate their houses with lights of different colours and sizes which glitter at their entrances and fences that makes for a mesmerizing view. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. Diwali is a festival which commemorates the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya along with his wife Sita, brother Lakshman and ardent devotee Hanuman after defeating the demon king Ravan. This religious festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the triumph of light over darkness.

On this auspicious occasion, Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped by Hindus. Furthermore, people believe that this beautiful festival brings wealth, prosperity and success to all. Mini cards

Hello friends !! Today I am going to share my new creation with you. These are mini cards that I created recently. So here is how they look-

I used red color as a base in one card and black in other one. I used maximum of 3 to 4 colors in each card. Cut out paper strips for the background. Used flower punch for making flowers and the patterns are handrawn using simple black pen. For cutting the paper I used designer scissor.  These cards are easy to make with no stones or any other specific decorating item and the outcome looks pretty classic, so do try this one.

Raksha Bandhan is a popular, traditionally Hindu, annual rite, or ceremony. On this day, sisters of all ages tie a talisman, or amulet, called the rakhi, around the wrists of their brothers, symbolically protecting them, receiving a gift in return, and traditionally investing the brothers with a share of the responsibility of their potential care.

So here is the card-

Its a slider card. I used a white pen in the background for making dotes, decorated with some stones. Everything is Handmade from the cartoons to rakhi.

In process image

I had some clay at home but it was hardened so I just put in a plastic pouch added some water and left it for 24 hrs, next day it was nice and smooth to use.
I just created some random designs on bottle, here as you can see is a bunch of grapes , on the others sides is different kinds of flowers ,some spirally design, etc. I didn't used any specific tools for creating all these things. After making all these things I left this over night so that clay can dry and attain these shapes.

I used spray cans and acrylic colors for painting this bottle. black and blue colors are spray paints while the shiny goldenish yellow is acrylic color.
